On other news, i have so much work right now i can't see past it. It just grows and grows like an obese monster bent on tearing me away from my friends and family.

I'm still busy with my thesis. I'd say we're just beyond the half way mark now.

Its tough. The rigs i built are solid, but not perfect in any respect. Today i tested them and found a whole lot of problems. Made me bleak, perhaps it because i've already mentally resigned myself to the fact that i just don't want to rigging anymore.. 0,0

Its hard to keep focused and inspired by a project that takes so long to produce. I remember the days of joy and creativity. I feel like that's being sapped away.

I am willing to admit right now that i haven't drawn anything with a pencil in TOO TOO TOOOOO LONG.

Lately i've been thinking of openning a pizza shop. Authentic Italian ingredients made in the authentic way. But yeah its all ( excuse the pun) pie in the sky still.

I'm not certain of what i want or where i'm going, right now all i have is a pretty girl that i'm getting to know and that right now.. makes everything worth it !!!

‘The Hobbit’ Gets a Director

Although the news has been rumored for weeks, Variety reports that Guillermo del Toro was officially announced Thursday to direct both films of “The Hobbit”. Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh will act as executive producers for the New Line-MGM films.

Del Toro’s moving to New Zealand for the next four years to work with Jackson and his Wingnut and Weta production teams. He’ll direct the two films back to back, with the sequel dealing with the 60-year period between “The Hobbit” and “The Fellowship of the Ring,” the first of the “Lord of the Rings” trilogy.

Jackson’s WETA stages, post-production and visual effects facilities — built for “The Lord of the Rings” — will be used for both films. And New Zealand will again be the site of Middle-earth, with the story centering on Bilbo Baggins taking the Ring of Power from Gollum.
